ABOUT THIS POSITION:
Back Market is looking for an SEO Content & Analysis expert to support our mission of making refurbished tech the first choice around the world. This role will focus on content strategy and production for our US and UK markets. You will work in tandem with our On-Site SEO team including other Market Managers and our Global Strategist to deliver high quality content in your market to improve visibility for both SEO and GEO.
You’ll play a key role in managing content production, performing tests, and supporting strategy with localized insights. We’re also excited to find someone who has experience and a genuine curiosity in AI content generation and content optimization for LLM visibility. The candidate should also be very adaptable as we navigate this new evolution of search.
YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): 🏅
Fully manage SEO visibility of your country (US and UK) and execute all actions to get maximum visibility
Collaborate with our senior SEO team members to define strategies that can grow our business in US, UK and abroad (EU Markets & Asia)
Lead content agencies or other contracted service providers to get the best value they can provide in the execution of tasks and processes, ensuring quality and deadline adherence
Analyze Google’s SERP and LLM visibility and find out the best-in-class strategies for our SEO/GEO
Conduct regular audits to detect ranking opportunities, content gaps and pruning opportunities
Conduct backlinks audits and work with the SEO Partnership team to grow site authority
Build a Content Calendar that fits our audience’s demand and aligns with global marketing priorities
Set up and proactively manage projects that align with our strategic goals
Participate in weekly progress meetings to discuss our worldwide strategies and share key learnings with the team
Effectively track, prioritize, manage, and report on deliverables, assignments, and issues related to each project
YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF: ⭐
2+ years of experience in SEO writing, content production and content performance analysis.
1+ years experience with AI integration.
Strong understanding of on-site SEO fundamentals (keyword analysis, content audits, internal linking, metadata, etc.).
Analytical / Data skills (Data Studio, Tableau, GA4, Google Search Console, Google Sheet, SEO tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush)
Comfortable working across markets and teams—able to switch between high-level insights and deep dives as needed.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is strongly preferred.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Enthusiasm for and pride in your work
Ability to work efficiently and independently and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
Ability to analyze, interpret, and present data meaningfully
