We are looking for a high-impact Senior AI Researcher to join our team. You won’t just be “tuning models” in a vacuum; you will be architecting the core intelligence of our product. You will help us improve AZmed’s products, Rayvolve and Rayscan, AI-based software for abnormality detection in standard X-rays and Lung CT scans, and gain hands-on experience developing applications that integrate state-of-the-art algorithms, using the first French deep learning software in radiology. Responsibilities

• Develop Deep Learning models: Architect high-precision models for radiology (Anomaly Detection in standard X-ray exams) and volumetric segmentation (Pulmonary Nodules in CT exams).

• Work on Multimodal applications: Bridge the gap between vision and language by building automated reporting systems and exploring VLM/Foundation Model applications.

• Contribute to providing the best experience to the users: Research and apply model adaptation and calibration strategies to deliver the best possible models.

• Improve the AI performances and knowledge continuously: Proactively research and prototype emerging AI architectures to solve complex medical imaging challenges. Promote scientific knowledge within and outside the team by presenting/popularizing scientific papers or debunking trends.

• Collaborate for Change: Work alongside product and engineering peers to turn abstract data into tools that provide real value to doctors and patients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or Researcher. You’ve “been in the trenches” and know how to ship.

• Strong academic background in Machine Learning, Statistics, or Computer Science.

• Proven expertise in Computer Vision (specifically segmentation and detection).

Bonus points

• A PhD in a relevant field.

• Experience with Medical Imaging (DICOM, 3D segmentation, etc.).

• Working knowledge of NLP or multi-modal models.

• Experience in training, fine-tuning, and using foundation models.
