AXA Health International is a new entity within AXA’s Health Division, dedicated to cross-border health and protection insurance and reinsurance.AXA Health is a fast-growing activity, structured around three pillars:

  • International health and protection programs for multinationals, via Maxis, a partnership with MetLife,
  • Health and protection coverage for expatriates (IPMI),
  • Services and consulting on global Employee Benefits and social protection activities.

In this context, the Tax and Accounting department being created, all tools and processes to produce the IFRS and Solvency II reporting are to be set-up.The department will have the responsibilities of 3 legal entities in France: 1 insurance company, 1 reinsurance company and 1 MGA (not an insurance company), as well as its branch in the UK and subsidiaries (UK, Ireland, HK, Singapore).The candidate, depending on his/her arrival, will have to recruit and manage his/her team to be able to produce the IFRS and QRT reports.Part of his role is to work closely with both the Accounting Manager and the Tax Manager as his / her inputs are needed for the Financial Statements (French GAAP and IFRS).
The main tasks (not limitative) would be to:
  • Produce Quarterly closings under IFRS and Solvency II (QRTs)
  • Produce the 2 pre-close exercise (Half Year and Full Year) as well as the Strat Plan and Forecasts
  • Ensure the blocking controls are solved / justified
  • Implement controls to ensure the correctness of the reporting produced
  • Manage a team (number of FTE not yet known) to help with the activities of the service
  • Participate in any project impacting the Accounting and Tax department


Preferované skúsenosti

Technical and professional skills:

  • Strong consolidation and IFRS experience (minimum 7 years)
  • Strong knowledge of insurance business with production of regulatory reports (QRTs). Targetting minimum 7 years in insurance business
  • Magnitude (SAP BFC) knowledge
  • SAP knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Rigor, organization, anticipation and flexibility
  • Fluent in French and strong in English
