Title: 3D Animator
Location: Paris, France
Reporting To: Design Director
We are seeking a 3D Animator with strong video editing skills and solid 3D animation expertise to join our Paris creative team within the Brand Management House. This hybrid role blends 3D animation (Maya), and editing (Premiere/Resolve) in equal measure.
You’ll use existing production assets to create dynamic, engaging content for YouTube, social media, music platforms, and brand campaigns.
You’ll work independently on marketing-focused animations while collaborating closely with the 3D generalist of the team, to ensure brand and creative alignment.
Imagine short stories and animate characters, focusing mainly on body mechanics (walk cycles, gesture loops, action poses) and facial expressions (including lipsync) for marketing use.
Basic skills in lighting/rendering for still images and animations.
Integrate 3D animation into campaign deliverables across platforms.
Edit and adapt video content for YouTube, social media, music platforms, and marketing activations.
Combine live-action, animation, and motion design elements into cohesive storytelling.
Optimize edits for each platform’s format, audience, and performance goals.
Sound design & music editing skills to enrich video content.
Work with internal creative teams and external partners (agencies, freelancers) to deliver brand-consistent content.
Bring creative ideas while respecting brand guidelines and production assets.
Balance quick-turnaround projects with high-polish hero pieces.
Proficiency in 3D animation with Maya, working with existing 3D scenes and assets.
Solid understanding of body mechanics, and facial expressions, particularly for marketing-oriented cycles and short animations.
Ability to handle basic rendering workflows (lighting, output settings, exports) to deliver animations as video-ready assets.
Video editing skills in Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
Ability to work on multiple projects, balancing speed and quality under tight deadlines.
Creativity, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
After 30 days at Animaj:
Fully onboarded into Animaj’s brand guidelines, creative workflows, and tools (Maya, Premiere/Resolve).
Delivered first small-scale assignments (e.g., social media edits, simple 3D animated cards) with minimal supervision.
Built collaborative working relationships with internal creative teams and key external partners.
Consistently meeting quality standards on assigned tasks.
After 90 days at Animaj:
Confidently delivering end-to-end high-quality assets.
Managing multiple projects at once, balancing quick-turnaround edits with more polished hero pieces.
Proactively contributing creative ideas while ensuring strict alignment with brand identity and campaign objectives.
Delivering at least one multi-platform asset pack from start to finish.
After 6 months at Animaj
Fully autonomous in producing high-quality, brand-consistent content that integrates 3D animation, and video editing.
Delivered at least one major campaign or activation involving multiple platforms and high-visibility assets.
Actively improving processes for faster, more efficient creation of marketing-ready animated content.
Recognized as a go-to creative for impactful, brand-driven storytelling assets.
Serving as a reference point for animation integration in marketing campaigns.
