As Akur8 continues to expand, we’re looking for a Regional Sales Director for North America Scale with a strong expertise in new business development to help continue our growth in North America with a focus on developing our market share with smaller insurance companies.
You’ll join the North America Sales team, whose mission it is to drive revenue growth for Akur8 in North America.
Your main responsibilities shall be to manage a team of sellers and to sell to a segment of insurance companies within the North America market, and you can expect to contribute to our continuing success by:
Growing the North America Scale accounts book of business with new logos.
Increasing the value of the existing book of North America Scale clients.
Owning revenue targets for the North America Scale accounts segment.
Solidifying Akur8’s market leadership in this segment.
As a Regional Sales Director for North America Scale, your typical set of missions include:
Defining and executing the strategy for the Scale market in North America.
Leading a high-performing sales team focused on driving growth.
Identifying new opportunities for growth in the market.
Owning your own set of higher stake deals.
Building long-term relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and positioning solutions that add value.
Partnering with internal stakeholders in marketing, product, and customer success to refine messaging, customer journeys, and product-market fit.
Thinking out of the box, suggesting new ideas and approaches to improve our product, based on client expectations.
Travel with the purpose of attending client meetings, events and internal gatherings will be required for this position.
EDUCATIONAL / PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
8+ years of professional experience in complex B2B sales
Demonstrated success selling SaaS products, ideally with a focus on new business sales.
Previous experience managing and developing a team of sales professionals.
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
HARD SKILLS
You have proven team management skills
You have proven experience in new business development and a track record of mastering sales strategies for complex tech SaaS products
You have experience with hands-on lead generation activities (incl. cold calling, networking, participating in events etc)
You are familiar with sales protocols and SaaS company processes, use of CRMs, Slack communication, multi-teams interactions.
You understand how to work with technical teams and navigate a global company.
