To help us support and structure Akur8’s rapid growth, we are looking for a FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team.

This role is focused on assisting the CFO in driving the company towards its long term goals. While reporting to the CFO, you will be working closely with the rest of the team (Finance, Admin & Legal) and of the company (Department Heads…). You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Outlook & analysis:

  • Lead budget process, including coordination with all departments and setup of different growth scenarii
  • Lead monthly forecasting process
  • Analyze monthly variances
  • Monitor and communicate KPIs; propose action plans in case of deviations
  • Adjust reporting format and KPIs based on business priorities and reporting needs
  • Track main spend categories (marketing…) with corresponding teams to ensure both adaptation to business priorities and consistency with budget

Projects / Other :

  • Support opening of potential international entities
  • Ensure consistency of intercompany agreements
  • Involvement in and coordination of potential financing projects, both dilutive and non dilutive
  • Coordination of potential requests for subsidies
  • Drive for process improvements within the team and the company, be it through implementation of new tools (including market watch) or process adjustments 
  • Management of insurance policies.

We're looking for an analytical and synthetic mindset, and:

  • You have qualified from a Business School
  • You have at least 4 years of experience and having experience in a VC or PE fund is a plus
  • You have strong Excel skills
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills in both French & English and are happy working in a multicultural environment
  • You are very organized, thorough and a quick thinker 
  • You have a capacity for detailed analysis and for converging to detailed and actionable plans, that you will be able to drive
  • You are empathetic, discreet and trustworthy: you will often be part of confidential information and need to treat it with maximum reliability 
  • You have a high sense of ownership and a solid autonomy 
  • You are flexible and adaptable. You are comfortable dealing with multiple and constantly new topics

Important: You must possess an employment status: French or Schengen area nationality or a ‘carte de séjour’ that will allow you to work from our Paris office.
