Job Description:
Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Digital Payload Software Delivery Manager (f/m) to join our Digital Payload Center of Competence of Space System Engineering based in Toulouse, France.
Within the new Digital Payload Center of Competence of Space System Engineering Organisation, you will join the transnational entity (France, Germany and United Kingdom) in charge of design, development and validation of Digital Payload Systems.
In the frame of the development of a major Telecom Programme, as a Delivery Manager you will be responsible of the delivery of qualified processing chains (mission SW).
Your challenges:
Secures & ensures delivery OQOTOC of missionised validated products for our institutional customer
Ensures an effective coordination with System Engineering, Missionisation, Recurring Delivery, Products & Quality Assurance
Lead and manage the bid technical preparation from strategy meeting to final validation, before submission to customer
Ensure compliance check and export applications which need to be processed in parallel to the bid preparation.
Prepare the required assumptions and constraints (e.g. pricing and associated cost drivers, as appropriate) for finance.
Ensure that the bid is validated by appropriate committees.
Support the program Lines to present and discuss the bid as needed.
High Experience in Project management and strong engineering skills
Ability to understand and drive the various aspects of managing a customer-oriented program in complex environment (technology, partnerships, customers)
Good technical knowledge in telecommunication and ability to synthesize information
Strong capability in communication and stakeholder management.
Team player, multi-cultural awareness
Adaptable to a fast, dynamic and changing environment
Fluency in English (French would be a plus)
Export Control Basics
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
The Job requires travels in the UK.
