We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to join our Back Office department, where you will oversee the Tax Services team. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for managing both the day-to-day operations and the people within your team, working closely with senior management to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence. 

Your main responsibilities will be:

Operations management:

  • Lead and supervise all operational activities related to tax services, including: 
    • Daily controls and periodical reporting to clients and tax authorities (QI, FATCA, AEOI, Tax Statements, FTT, Tax Reclaims, CISA oversight) 
    • Oversight and enhancement of operational procedures and documentation 
    • Monitoring and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) 
    • Acting as the first point of escalation for complex operational issues 
    • Leading and supporting internal tax-related projects and initiatives 
    • Following up on investigations and resolving discrepancies effectively 
    • Overseeing team’s daily activities and ensure a smooth workflow
    • Organizing and managing work schedules and task allocation 

Team Management:

  • Leading and supporting a team of 5 Tax & Custody Team Members:
    • Fostering a positive work atmosphere where employees feel motivated, valued, and connected to the team and the organization.
    • Promoting collaboration, trust, and cohesion among team members.
    • Addressing any potential conflicts among team members to your senior management and/or HR Partner
    • Supporting employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities.
  • Hiring:
    • Leading the recruitment process with your Talent Acquisition Partner
    • Ensuring new hires are properly introduced to the team, the organization, its culture, policies, and their specific roles.
  • Performance Management: Setting performance expectations, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues.
  • Conducting under performance process with the help of your Senior Management and HR Partner.

Requisitos

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement) in Banking, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent) 
  • Proven experience in Tax Operations within the banking or financial services industry 
  • Previous experience in a leadership role is a strong advantage.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required; German is a plus 
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative mindset 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
