Description

We are seeking a Developer Evangelist who will be the face of our company, bridging the gap between our technology and the developer community.As a Developer Evangelist reporting to our CEO, you will build relationships within the developer community, serving as our ears, eyes, and voice to drive awareness of the ZED cameras and ecosystem. You will leverage social media, content creation, community engagement, virtual and in-person events, and more to raise awareness of Stereolabs.

Responsibilies

  • Support and grow Stereolabs' community by engaging with ZED camera and SDK developers through content, conversations, events, and leadership.
  • As the founding evangelist, architect a plan, experiment, and take ownership of the role to achieve Stereolabs' mission.
  • Connect and engage with developers, sharing knowledge and experience about Stereolabs, at conferences, meetups, contributed articles, blogs, podcasts, social media, and beyond.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of developer relations and developer evangelism for Stereolabs as an individual contributor, reporting to the CEO, with future goals to add headcount and grow a team.
  • Brainstorm and develop strategies and content, prepare and present talks at events, conferences, and meetups, and directly engage technical audiences across a variety of time zones and geographies to support adoption.
  • Lead conversations around the latest ZED SDK releases and best practices in the developer community.
  • Create engaging content, including technical talks, blog posts, demos, and videos, to educate developers.

Requisitos

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Experience building applications with the ZED camera and SDK
  • At least 1 year of experience giving talks and developing demos, workshops, webinars, videos, and other technical content.
  • Meaningful social presence with engaged followers across platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, GitHub, and technical forums.
  • Ability to manage a fast-moving conference schedule with its deadlines and show dates, coordinating logistics, preparing presentations, and delivering engaging talks.
  • Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communications.
  • Demonstrated interest and experience with data science, analytics, or quantitative insight-driven products or technologies.
