The Travel Account Executive actively contributes to the growth of IZIPIZI’s Travel Retail channel.
He/She is responsible for the operational follow-up of customer accounts, prospecting new partners (with a focus on cruise lines), in-store field activation, and ensuring operational excellence at points of sale. They also support the TR Sales Manager in executing the commercial strategy, analyzing performance, and preparing key channel milestones.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Business Development & Prospecting
Identify, qualify, and approach new prospects (focus on cruise lines, duty-free, and distributors).
Present the brand and product offering; maintain regular updates to the prospect file.
Support the creation of commercial proposals in collaboration with the TR Sales Manager.
2. Account Management & Operational Support
Manage day-to-day relationships with Travel Retail customer accounts.
Follow up with clients on sell-out data, reorders, or missing information.
Coordinate the dispatch of materials (product sheets, commercial terms, contract documents).
Track client requests (POSM, displays, visuals, assortment updates, etc.).
3. Field Activation & Operational Excellence
Conduct regular visits to points of sale (airports, cruise ships, partner stores…).
Train local teams on brand values, products, and sales techniques.
Ensure brand merchandising guidelines are properly applied (visual merchandising, furniture, visuals…).
Maximize brand visibility in-store (placements, local opportunities…).
4. Merchandising & Fixture Rollout Projects
Monitor furniture installations and new corner setups.
Coordinate with internal teams (VM, marketing) and external suppliers.
Report field issues, customer needs, and improvement recommendations.
5. Performance Analysis & Reporting
Monitor sell-out performance of partners.
Prepare monthly reports (quantitative and qualitative).
Support the development of commercial and merchandising action plans.
6. Support for Key Events & Trade Shows
Contribute to the preparation of the TFWA Cannes trade show (logistics, content, coordination).
Attend trade shows or partner events, occasionally internationally.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Account Executive in the retail sector (internships and apprenticeships included).
Knowledge
Solid command of Excel (creating/managing linesheets, integrating into client templates).
Comfortable with CRM, reporting tools (ideally Power BI), and sales management software.
Experience in a Travel Retail environment is a plus.
Fluent in English (French and Spanish are a plus).
