SLB is searching for a new Accounting and Tax Supervisor to join a team of 4 people in Clamart (France) in Finance function, and work in collaboration with our shared services center, reporting to the France Tax Manager, to perform the following responsibilities:

Supervision of statutory accounts

• Ensure that statutory accounts are drawn up in compliance with French accounting standards

• Review and approve account analysis, valuation of investments and financial products

• Review financial statements prepared by the accounting firm

• Be the point of contact for auditors and experts mandated by the social work council

• Prepare periodic forecast documents as part of the presentation of accounts to boards and general meetings.

• Perform ad hoc accounting or tax analysis missions, related to the scope and possible restructuring

Preparation and supervision in tax matters:

• Review and validate French tax packages to complete the tax unit filing,

• Review and approve periodic tax returns (VAT, DAC6, DEB DES, CVAE, CFE, 2257, DAS2, Tax on Offices, Property Tax, withholding tax, …)

• Maintain documentary watch and implementation of the procedures necessary for compliance with tax rules

• Participate in tax audits and social controls

• Analyze transactions for the preparation of transfer pricing documentation

• Bac+5/Master degree in Finance or Accounting specialization

• At least 5 years of experience in Finance/Tax/Accounting positions

• Willing to work in a multicultural environment, with many internal and external interfaces, requiring an organized, flexible, and multidisciplinary approach and a good ability to communicate in English

• Autonomy, rigor, responsiveness, adaptability

• Very good command of Excel, Power BI would be a plus
