Our Team 

We are Sanofi’s CHC Ethics and Business Integrity (EBI) team. We are a team of strategic business stakeholders who establish the CHC Fit-for-Purpose EBI Program to address CHC business needs and ethics, compliance and privacy risks and who drive cultural transformation enabling fast ethical decision-making and accountability.

The Head of Global EBI Governance and Internal EBI Program oversees the implementation and continuous enhancement of CHC Ethics & Business Integrity (EBI) Program, investigations and the ethical cultural transformation enabling ethical decision making and conduct and accountability.  

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Drive implementation and continuous enhancement of a Fit-For-Purpose Global EBI Program for Consumer Healthcare.  This includes policies and procedures, training and communication, risk assessment etc.  

  • Oversee establishment of EBI related governance at global level and at countries in collaboration with Regional EBI Heads, Global Process Owners and other key functions  

  • Provide strategic advice and support to the Head of Ethics & Business Integrity CHC  

  • Continuously enhance Anti-corruption Program in compliance with Sapin II Law and other laws of extraterritorial applicability 

  • Drive cultural transformation through ethical culture initiatives and implement plans to address areas for enhancement based upon ethical culture measurement 

  • Work closely and coordinate with Regional EBI Heads and Zone EBI Officers to obtain regional/zone insights and information for the enhancement of Global EBI Program 

  • Manage Alerts Helpline, perform triage of alerts, define investigation strategies, oversee investigations from initiation up to close out  

  • Oversees remedial and disciplinary measures in collaboration with People & Culture  

  • Oversee predictive monitoring and other reviews to identify, detect, prevent, mitigate and predict risks  

  • Oversees the generation of meaningful insights such as trends, risk areas, areas of enhancement, root causes and outliers through data analytics  

  • Oversees the execution of enhancement/remedial action plans  

  • Manage directly a team at global level 

 

About you  

  • We are seeking a seasoned ethics and compliance leader with a proven track record of success in implementing and leading ethics and compliance programs within the Healthcare or Consumer Goods industries.

  • You have 12+ years of experience driving positive change in ethics and compliance programs across various business functions at a country, regional, or global level.

  • Your experience extends beyond technical expertise, showcasing strong leadership and influencing skills. You have a talent for navigating and leading resolution of challenging situations, fostering collaboration and buy-in from senior leaders and stakeholders across all levels.

  • You are a global citizen, comfortable leading and influencing stakeholders in a multinational and multicultural environment. You possess a deep understanding of the importance of fostering a culture of integrity across diverse teams.

  • Your experience building and leading high-performing ethics and compliance teams demonstrates your ability to inspire and motivate others.

Technical Skills

  • Proven ability to leverage your advanced knowledge of international business ethics, compliance principles, and extraterritorial regulations to develop and implement effective ethics and business integrity programs.

  • Successfully navigate the complexities of healthcare-related laws and regulations, providing sound and practical ethical advice to management on a broad range of business issues.

  • Expertise in utilizing technology to streamline compliance processes and enhance program effectiveness.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • A university degree in management/business administration, law, or a relevant discipline, complemented by a strong analytical mind and critical thinking skills, is required. We value diverse backgrounds and experiences, believing that strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ethical conduct are key to success.

  • Healthcare compliance certifications are a plus.

  • Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally.

  • Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills in English and French are essential for global leadership. Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
