Our team :

Join Sanofi in Paris as Digital Product Line Owner R&D Accelerator . In this role you will be responsible for digital products delivery of identified strategic digital priorities. Also accountable  for this digital product line with responsibility encompassing digital product strategy co-development with global R&D leaders, digital product roadmap planning, digital product delivery through scrum team (either through internal resources and/or external partnerships), and business impact measurement.

You will work closely with development teams using Agile methodologies to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality features.

You are active member of the Digital Accelerator Leadership Team and work hand in hand with the Head of the Accelerator, the Head of Architecture, the Head of Engineering, The Head of Data and AI & the Head of Operations. You will functionally report to the Head of Accelerator and work in close collaboration with Head of Digital R&D. Your work will be aligned to the Global R&D Strategy and operating model.

You have a strong experience as a Digital leader & Product Leader with a very good of understanding of each of these roles’ missions and skills. You have a strong  ability to quickly understand business stakes and design high value digital products.

Main responsibilities:

• Leadership role : the team size is estimated around ~50 members with direct management over the product owners and additional capabilities coming from various COEs:  software engineers, data engineers, data scientists & data analysts.

• As a leader you will have, in partnership with the P&C function, to recruit, lead, staff and support the team  

• Digital Product Planning & Roadmap: Working closely with global R&D leaders, you will be responsible for identifying customer needs, prioritizing features, guiding the work through the backlog and developing the products vision and roadmap.

• Digital Product Delivery: The role owns the definition and deployment identified and priority Digital products from inception to launch, in line with R&D’s strategic objectives.

• Help translate the global strategies for product enhancements with adequate detail for engineering development and acts as a mediator between internal stakeholders, users and the technology teams.

• Digital Business Impact: The role will work closely with Global R&D and the various Digital functions  for the performance and measurement of the business impact of the digital products . You will also have to present & report to executives on the progress and impacts of those products.

About you :

• Strong experience working in Digital Product delivery as a product owner, product line owner or product manager ideally within healthcare industry

• Expertise in leading cross-functional teams to create Digital Strategies and Implementation roadmaps. Distinctive focus on solution objectives and application of product methodologies (design thinking, iteration, fast fail, etc.)

• Demonstrated track record of designing, developing, and delivering multiple transformative digital products

• Outstanding risk management and "get things done" mindset

• Fast learning: Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new industries (e.g., having changed industries)

• Excellent ability to  translate business requirements into workable, fit for purpose, technical designs and solutions. Have extensive experience on technical solution identification and rationalization

• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies

• Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies

• Experience in R&D applications or a related field is highly desirable

• Strong technical background, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts

• Strong financial acumen

• Servant leadership, flexible, positive team player

• Self-motivated, takes initiative

• Problem solving & critical thinking

• Oral and written fluency in English
