Senior SAP Analytics Consultant

POSITION DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

The Senior Consultant in the Analytics practice is responsible for developing and growing our SAP analytics strategy and offerings. As an integral part of the team, you will work closely with solution architects and consulting delivery teams across the business. You will act as a subject matter expert, using SAP BW/4HANA and tools within the SAP Analytics portfolio to unlock value for new and existing clients. You will also contribute to developing quality deliverables using the full range of SAP analytics tools and technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

• Capture business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Act as a Delivery/Solution Lead to define, design, and deliver integrated solutions in line with client requirements.
• Address complex system landscapes and business requirements confidently.
• Solve business problems using technical acumen and analytical methodologies.
• Manage day-to-day tasks, delivery execution, and escalations to ensure value for NTT Data Business Solutions and the customer.
• Project manage small to medium-sized analytics projects.
• Develop strong client relationships and manage complex or sensitive situations.
• Engage in continuous learning to keep pace with new technologies and developments.
• Share and communicate expert knowledge to develop others and improve business processes.
• Collaborate to deliver sales revenue through proposition development, IP development, and pre-sales activities.
• Recognise potential for repeat and extended business and support NTT Data Business Solutions in growing our business.
• Participate in multi-resource projects or internal teams, supporting growth and development in line with the company';s strategy.

PERSONAL PROFILE – SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Strong experience with SAP BW/4HANA, coupled with one or more of the following:
  • SAP Datasphere
  • SAP Analytics Cloud
  • SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics
• Desired skills include:
  • SAP ABAP
  • SAP Business Data Cloud
  • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
  • Non-SAP Data Solutions such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, etc.
• Excellent communication, influence, and inspiration skills.
• Strong interpersonal and soft skills to develop positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Passion for data modelling and visualisation.
• Ability to make solid and reliable decisions in complex environments.
• Thirst for learning and staying on top of the evolving technology landscape.
• Ability to share and transfer expertise and operational knowledge in a structured manner.

PERSONAL PROFILE – EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of consulting experience in SAP BW on HANA or BW/4HANA and related SAP Analytics technologies
• Successful delivery of 8-10 full project lifecycles on medium to large-sized projects.
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead or Technical Architect within an SAP Analytics environment.
• Production of high-quality project and bid documentation, plus QA review of project documents.
• Proven client-facing skills with experience delivering presentations to clients.
• Experience in leading and coordinating integrated workshops and requirements gathering exercises.
