📌 About the mission

Jus Mundi is seeking a freelance Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to support our Platform Team over the next 3 months. Your mission: help us maintain and improve the performance, security, and scalability of our infrastructure.
We foster a collaborative and open-minded work culture. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the future of Jus Mundi’s services for the global legal community.

👤 Whom We’re Looking For

• You hold a degree in IT and have 7+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure

• You’ve worked on various types of architectures at different scales

• You’re comfortable managing and optimizing database clusters

• You have hands-on experience with cloud platforms

• You master DevOps automation tools and techniques (containers, orchestration, CI/CD, IaC, etc.)

• You’re organized and have strong communication skills

• You’re fluent in English (written and spoken)

  We’re open to remote profiles outside Paris based in France, provided they’re able to come to the office once a month. 

⚙️ Your Responsibilities

• Technical infrastructure audit with concrete recommendations and implementation of improvements

• Scalability assessment based on our product and technical roadmap for September, ensuring zero downtime/slowdown during the new release

• PHP/Apache expertise to resolve configuration and performance issues

• Technical support reinforcement during summer (reduced team) with methodology guidance for developers

• CI/CD debugging and improvement

• If time permits: development of an onboarding plan for future team members

• Cloud Providers: OVHcloud/AWS/Scaleway

• Orchestration: Hashicorp Nomad / Consul /Vault

• Databases: Postgres, Elasticsearch, Redis

• Languages: Bash, Python, PHP, JavaScript, Go

• Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Datadog, Victoriametrics
