What you will do:

As a Quantitative Developer you will develop mathematical models and analytical tools used by the FX, Fixed Income, Credit, desks at HSBC

In this role you will require:

  • The development of the underlying mathematical models and analytical tools used by the FX, Fixed Income, Credit, desks at HSBC
  • The integration of these models into the grid computing layer
  • To design, develop, test and document the grid computing workflows developed to HSBC standards
  • To develop technical solutions for the desk as required
  • To provide rapid fixes to any issues identified in the models
  • To improve the coding quality and testing environment.

Conditions

  • 8-10 years working as a Quantitative Developer developing and integrating models in quantitative finance, IT development, or a trading environment
  • A degree in Information Technologies, mathematical finance, science or maths from a top tier university
  • Knowledge of the standard pricing models used in the investment banking industry
  • C++ experience (preferably using Visual Studio 2019 or later versions)
  • Knowledge of distributed computing and serialisation techniques preferred.
  • Python experience preferred.
