Swan is looking for an Account Executive for Southern Europe to hunt, convince and sign numerous new customers in the upcoming years. You’ll be part of a team consisting of 4 AEs and 3 BDRS.. After a very successful start in the region we’re looking for someone to come and help support our growth by helping us grow Swan’s market share in the startup ecosystem.
We’re looking for someone who will for the first quarters get experience pitching and getting comfortable with Swan sales processes and product offering. From the 2nd quarter onwards we expect the successful candidate to sign its first partners.
We’re looking for someone with a strong business acumen, willing to make Swan grow over the long-term and excited by the challenges of selling. But we’re also looking for a strategic thinker, able to understand our customers’ needs and to perform consultative sales while maintaining a high level of outbound activities.
We need a curious person, willing to learn and comfortable with the technical aspects of our product.
Lastly, we’re looking for a team player who will partner with our product and compliance teams (among others) to ensure our roadmap entails the main requests of our top prospects, and to constantly improve our onboarding processes.

✨ Main tasks

  • Carry a revenue and new logo target

  • Increase the brand awareness of Swan in the Southern Europe region

  • Develop a consultative and solution-based sales approach to answer our customers needs (we don’t sell a product, we sell a solution)

  • Help us improve Swan’s sales playbook

  • Attend industry events to meet new prospects and spot new opportunities for Swan

  • Build Swan’s offer to tackle new verticals

  • Effectively work cross-functionally across the organization to shape Swan’s solutions to meet customer needs

Preferred experience

You’re a great match if:

  • At least 18 months experience in a BDR role or 12 months in an AE/AM or similar
  • Full professional proficiency in English and French or Spanish (trilingual is definitely a plus here)
  • You’re not afraid to pick up the phone and cold call someone
  • You’re organized and know how to follow a process
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts, and translate them into industry- or business-relevant terms
  • Based in Paris or Barcelona (or willing to relocate)
