We are looking for a highly motivated FP&A Intern to join our Finance team for a 6-month internship. In this dual-function role, you will get hands-on experience supporting both the Corporate FP&A and Topline FP&A teams. This is a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of a successful tech company's financial mechanics, from strategic investor reporting to commercial profitability analysis.

  • Monthly Closing: Assist the team in the monthly financial closing process, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data reporting.

  • Shareholder & Investor Relations: Contribute to the preparation of the monthly and quarterly shareholder decks, providing clear financial insights and KPIs to our investors.

  • Process & Tool Automation (Pigment): Play a key role in the continuous improvement of our financial processes. You will help build, maintain, and automate models within our EPM tool, Pigment, driving efficiency across the finance team.

Support Topline FP&A:

  • Deal Desk Operations: Partner with the commercial & legal teams to evaluate pricing structures, analyze discounts, and ensure the financial viability of complex client contracts.

  • Margin Analysis: Conduct deep-dive contribution margin analyses to identify trends, evaluate the profitability of different business lines, and recommend areas for optimization.

  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide analytical support for strategic projects and commercial initiatives to help drive Malt’s revenue growth.

About you 🧑‍🚀

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Bac +5). Ideally, students seeking a second gap-year or final-year internship.

  • Analytical Skills: You possess a strong analytical mindset, a love for numbers, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Technical Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets is required. Previous exposure to or an interest in learning EPM tools (especially Pigment) is a plus but not required

  • Language: Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) is required, as you will interact with international teams and stakeholders.

Soft Skills: You are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative scale-up environment.
