About the Team

This is a team-agnostic position, meaning your placement will be based on your skills, interests, and current business priorities. At Gorgias, our engineering organization is built around autonomous product teams, each owning a specific area of the platform end to end.

These teams work closely with Product and Design, operate in short iterations, and are deeply connected to customer needs. Regardless of the team you join, you'll contribute to solving complex, high-impact problems that directly shape the customer experience.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in building and enhancing features across the Gorgias platform. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions that solve meaningful customer problems.

In this role, you will:

• Design, implement, and own full-stack features and services from concept to production.

• Build and maintain scalable, observable, and secure systems that power real-time support for thousands of e-commerce merchants.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to plan, prioritize, and deliver high-impact initiatives.

• Contribute to technical discussions, architecture reviews, and product scoping with a focus on long-term scalability and simplicity.

• Drive quality by writing well-tested, maintainable code and leading by example in code reviews and design sessions.

• Mentor and support less experienced engineers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge sharing.

Who You Are

• You have 6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong foundation in both backend and frontend engineering.

• You're comfortable working with complex product architectures and have a deep understanding of modern software design principles.

• You have experience shipping user-facing products at scale and take full ownership of your work—beyond the code.

• You think in terms of systems and are pragmatic when solving problems under real-world constraints.

• You write clean, testable code and care about building high-quality software that lasts.

• You thrive in collaborative environments, communicate effectively, and bring clarity to ambiguous situations.

• You value feedback, learning, and continuous improvement—for yourself and the team.
