We’re looking for a Freelance Creative Strategist to support our Spanish market on paid social video production.
This role sits at the crossroads of creative strategy, project coordination, and iteration. You will not edit or produce the videos yourself. Instead, you’ll define concepts, write briefs and scripts, coordinate creators and designers, and help decide what to test next based on performance feedback.
This is a good fit for someone who likes fast creative cycles, clear routines, and performance-driven content more than polished brand campaigns.
This is a freelance role - full remote from EMEA (+/- 2h from France)
What you’ll do
Creative strategy
Research trends, competitors, hooks, and winning angles for the Spanish market
Turn business needs and performance signals into new creative concepts
Write clear briefs, scripts, and production guidelines
Recommend the right format depending on the idea: real UGC, AI avatar content, influencer content, or designer-led video variations
Project coordination
Manage several video projects at the same time
Coordinate with content creators and internal designers
Source and brief the right creators based on concept, timing, and budget
Manage a creator pool of around 10 to 15 creators per quarter, with frequent weekly renewals
Keep production on track in terms of deadlines, budget, and delivery
Iteration
Join weekly discussions with the traffic team, Creative Supervisor, and Head of Growth
Use performance feedback to decide what to push, adapt, retry, or stop
Turn learnings into sharper hooks, better briefs, and smarter creator choices
What the mission looks like
Around 15 to 20 videos in motion per week
A strong weekly production rhythm
Several projects running in parallel
A lot of testing, iteration, and concept variation
A performance-first approach: simple and effective beats polished and perfect
This is not a branding-heavy role. A lot of what we test is straightforward, sometimes rough, often fast to produce — because the goal is to find what performs.
What we’re looking for
2+ years of experience in creative strategy, social video production coordination, or project management for paid social content
Strong understanding of how social video ads are developed, tested, and iterated
Experience working with creators, briefs, scripts, and production workflows
Solid judgment on hooks, messaging, formats, and social media trends
Strong organization and enough structure to thrive in a recurring weekly rhythm
A test-and-learn mindset: you like trying ideas, learning fast, and improving through iteration
Comfort working cross-functionally and going after the right information when needed
Language requirements
Native Spanish (Spain) is required
And either fluent French or English (for internal communication)
Tools
You should be comfortable working with collaborative tools and fitting into an existing setup, including Slack, Notion, Google Drive, ClickUp, Looker, and internal tools.
