THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Services Advisor to join our People team in France. This role is essential in providing efficient and effective first-line HR support and administrative services to all employees and Managers across France & Belgium. The People Services Advisor will be a key point of contact for HR queries, ensuring a seamless employee experience and maintaining accurate HR records in compliance with French Labour Law and company policies.
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring you to be in the office at least 3 days per week and giving you the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining 2 days.
YOUR MISSIONS:
Serve as the first point of contact for HR enquiries from employees and managers, providing clear, timely, and accurate support.
Manage the case management platform: monitor tickets, assess urgency, route to the right team, and ensure full resolution.
Escalate complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate HR Specialist or HR Manager when required.
Deliver end-to-end HR administration across the employee lifecycle — onboarding, changes, and offboarding.
Onboarding: Prepare contracts and documentation, support visas and insurance registration, and coordinate new joiner orientation.
Employee Changes: Process job changes, promotions, transfers, and salary updates in Workday, ensuring accuracy.
Offboarding: Manage resignations and terminations, including exit paperwork and systems updates.
Support payroll preparation by ensuring all data is correct and processed on time.
Prepare HR-related letters and certificates (e.g. salary certificates, employment verification, NOCs).
Maintain accurate employee records in Workday, ensuring compliance with French Labour Law, GDPR, and company policies.
Stay informed on labour law updates and communicate relevant changes to the People team.
Partner with Government Relations to manage employee documentation: visas, renewals, medicals, insurance, and related queries.
Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance efficiency and employee experience.
Support the documentation and continuous improvement of HR procedures.
Collaborate closely with team members to resolve issues, share knowledge, and align on best practices.
Coordinate employee engagement programs such as Roo Awards and Lunch & Learn sessions.
Handle ad-hoc HR administrative requests (certificates, letters, verifications).
Contribute to wider People projects and initiatives as directed by the Line Manager.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Proven experience in a similar role preferably within the French market
Strong understanding of standard HR administration processes & best practices
Experience using Workday desirable
Knowledge of French Labor Law
Excellent organisational skills with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.
