About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Craft.AI and contribute to the development of innovative AI-driven solutions, including large language models (LLMs) and machine learning (ML) applications. You will work closely with our Product and Tech teams, play a key role in shaping the Platform’s future, and stay at the forefront of industry advancements. You will own end-to-end development from designing robust data pipelines to deploying and optimizing scalable ML / LLM-powered systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize LLM-powered applications and ML models.

• Design scalable data pipelines architectures and deploy ML/LLM models in production. Strong knowledge in architectures for scalability and robustness is key.

• Collaborate on product roadmaps and contribute to continuous improvement of CraftGPT and other AI-based tools.

• Lead technical workshops and design sessions for new features.

• Handle full project lifecycles: problem definition, model deployment, and ongoing enhancements.

• Stress-test platform infrastructure and work closely with GPU-based environments.

• Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to team growth and recruitment efforts.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python (mastering another laguage would be greatly appreciated), with experience in product development.

• Expertise in ML techniques, LLM methods, and open-source techniques.

• Experience with key tools and libraries: FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Docker, Transformers, VectorDB, model quantization, and deployment frameworks (vLLM, LMdeploy).

• Familiarity with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).

• Applied knowledge of containerization (Docker, K8s) and GPU instance management.

• Strong understanding of MLOps workflows, CI/CD, and version control systems like Git.

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years in data science or Machine Learning roles.

• Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and NLP.

• Experience with cloud services, including S3 and virtual machines, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
