JOB DESCRIPTION:

Join Back Market's Seller Success team at the most critical moment of our sellers' journey! As Europe's leading refurbished electronics marketplace, we're revolutionizing how businesses launch and thrive on our platform.

As a Seller Launch & Account Management Apprentice, you'll be the bridge between onboarding and long-term success, managing newly launched sellers through their crucial first weeks on Back Market (the Launching Phase of our Sellers). You'll own a portfolio of 50-100 sellers during their trial period, combining relationship management, performance analysis, and strategic guidance to transform new partners into thriving marketplace champions.

This role sits at the intersection of account management, business development, and process improvement. Day to day, you'll analyze sales data, run performance check-ins, provide strategic advice, and build lasting relationships with new sellers in Europe and United States — while also spotting friction in our processes, collecting seller feedback, and implementing solutions that make things work better for everyone.

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): 🥇

  • Portfolio Management: Own and manage 50-100 newly launched sellers through their critical first 30-60 days on the platform, ensuring their successful transition from onboarding to active selling

  • Performance Analysis: Leverage Excel and Salesforce to analyze sales and quality performance data, identifying optimization opportunities and providing actionable insights to improve seller results

  • Strategic Check-ins: Conduct structured follow-ups at key milestones (D10, D15, D30, D60), guiding sellers through our gamified launching process and addressing challenges proactively

  • Relationship Building: Develop strong professional relationships with sellers across Europe, providing patient, friendly support while maintaining high performance standards

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Operations, Quality, Product, and Finance teams to adapt solutions and drive special projects like Black Friday campaigns and market diversification initiatives

  • Process Improvement: Identify pain points in our processes by gathering direct feedback from sellers, then design and implement targeted projects to address them — turning recurring friction into structured, lasting solutions.

YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF: ⭐

  • Seeking a 1 year apprenticeship contract (B3 or Master level)

  • Fluent English & French (C1 minimum) - you'll manage relationships with sellers across Europe and the US daily.

  • Excel proficiency including pivot tables and data analysis capabilities

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail for managing high-volume seller portfolios

  • Strong communication skills - professional, friendly, and patient approach to challenging situations

  • Negotiation and relationship-building abilities essential for portfolio management success

Bonus Points:

  • Previous commercial experience - highly valued for managing seller relationships independently

  • Salesforce experience or CRM familiarity

  • E-commerce or marketplace experience

  • Proactive ownership mindset - ability to make processes your own and drive improvements

  • Additional European languages

Ideal Profile: We're seeking a more experienced intern profile who can handle independent portfolio management. You should be genuinely excited about account management, sales performance optimization, and building lasting business relationships. Experience in commercial roles is highly valued as you'll be the primary point of contact for sellers during their most critical growth phase.

ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP: ℹ️

  • Starting date: July, August or September 2026.

  • Duration: 12 months approx.

  • Part-time apprenticeship (rhythm depending on your school's calendar - to be discussed during our calls).

  • Location: Paris 18, France.
