ABOUT THE JOB:

Back Market is now looking for its new FP&A Investor relations talent. Reporting to the Seller services and Investor relations FP&A lead, you will be a key player of the Finance team and you will contribute to shape the future of finance at Back Market.

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): 🥇

  • Be in charge of FP&A processes coordination
  • Lead and continuously improve the monthly closing process with a closing delay reduction objective
  • Coordinate FP&A and operational teams during forecast processes (Budget, Forecast, Rolling Forecast) to ensure deadlines are met and projects stay on schedule
  • Be Responsible for internal and investor communication materials
  • Actively participate into the preparation of the Group monthly financial package to be shared with the Executive Committee
  • Contribute to the preparation of presentations for shareholders and follow-up of Board meetings and investors requests
  • In conjunction with the FP&A director and the top management, support the planning and execution of fundraisings, including market analysis, preparation of all materials (Virtual Data Room, pitch decks, etc.), cap table, waterfall, …
  • Maintain and keep on improving data models
  • Update unit economics calculation, Business Plan, cohorts, etc …
  • Monitor peer metrics and conduct benchmarking analysis and detailed industry researches
  • Act as a business partner for Ops team for new services launch and initiatives
  • Take an active part into the development of Back Market and the structuring of the finance team by implementing / maintaining / connecting the right management tools to automate and improve the quality of the financial information (Anaplan, ERP, dashboarding, KPIs)
  • YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF: ⭐

  • You are fluent in both French and English
  • You hold a master’s degree in Finance (or equivalent) 
  • You bring to the table at least 5 years of experience in corporate finance, of which meaningful experience either in FP&A, investor relations or financial consulting (M&A, TS).
  • You have excellent financial modeling and scenario analysis skills, including the ability to build excel-based decision tools, sensitivity tables (expert user of Microsoft Excel is a must)
  • You are a hands-on person able to dive into accounting, tax & reporting issues
  • You love to work in a fast-changing environment. Ideally, you already have a strong experience in a start-up / scale-up, and / or in a marketplace environment
  • You are a reliable team player with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • You are highly organized, motivated, analytical, have a sense of urgency and an ability to prioritize tasks
  • You have excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to synthesize recommendations from analysis 
  • You have an unquestionable credibility and integrity
