1. WHAT’S IN THESE TERMS?
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) sets out the content and behavioral standards that apply to the use of our Website and Services. This includes but is not limited to posting on employer branding pages, creating job offers, and making contact with candidates.
2. POLICY UPDATES
We may amend this Policy from time to time and will inform you of material changes in compliance with our General Terms and Conditions.
The most current version of this Policy will always apply to your use of our Services.
3. DEFINITIONS
- “Contribution” means any content, material, or information that you submit, post, or upload to our Services.
- “Services” has the definition set out in our General Terms and Conditions.
- “You” means any user of our Services, including customers and their representatives.
4. PROHIBITED USES
4.1 Illegal activities
You must not use our Services:
- In any way that breaches applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
- For any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or with any unlawful or fraudulent effect
- To promote, advocate, or assist any illegal activity
4.2 Harmful Behaviour
You must not use our Services:
- For the purpose of harming or attempting to harm any person in any way
- To bully, insult, intimidate or humiliate any person
- To threaten, abuse or invade another’s privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety
4.3 Malicious Content
You must not use our Services:
- To send unsolicited advertising, promotional material, or spam
- To upload material that does not comply with our Content Standards (Section 5)
- To knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware
4.4 Restricted Activities
You must not use our Services:
- To promote or advocate any particular political candidate, party, issue, belief, philosophy or position
- To promote or advocate any religion or spiritual belief
- To engage, support or promote political or religious lobbying activities
- If you are a company or organization primarily engaged in offering coaching, advisory, or support services related to personal or spiritual development
5. CONTENT STANDARDS
These standards apply to all Contributions, including employer branding content and job offers.
The standards must be followed both in letter and in spirit, and apply to each part of any Contribution as well as the whole.
5.1 Required Standards
All Contributions must:
- Be accurate where they state facts
- Comply with this Policy and our Terms and Conditions
- Comply with applicable laws in France and the country from which they are posted
5.2 Prohibited content
Harmful or Offensive Content
Contributions must not:
- Be defamatory, obscene, offensive or inflammatory
- Promote sexually explicit material or include child sexual abuse material
- Promote violence or illegal activities
- Be threatening, abusive, or likely to cause alarm or distress
Discriminatory or hateful Content
Contributions must not:
- Promote discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
- Include or promote hateful content, including homophobic, transphobic, racist, xenophobic, or antisemitic material or discourse
Deceptive or Fraudulent Content
Contributions must not:
- Be likely to deceive any person
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Give the false impression that content comes from Welcome to the Jungle
- Contain false or misleading information
Legal Regulations
Contributions must not:
- Infringe copyright, database rights, or trademarks
- Breach legal duties owed to third parties
- Be in contempt of court
- Encourage or incite terrorism or criminal acts
Commercial Restriction
Contributions must not:
- Contain unauthorized advertising or promote external services or websites
- Advocate or otherwise promote, in any way whatsoever, whether directly or indirectly, political views or religious beliefs
6. BREACH OF THIS POLICY
If we determine that you have breached this Acceptable Use Policy, we may, at our sole discretion, take any or all of the following actions:
- Immediate, temporary, or permanent removal of any Contribution you have uploaded to our Website
- Immediate suspension of our agreement in accordance with Article 7 of our General Terms and Conditions
- Immediate termination of our agreement upon notice
- Further legal action against you, depending on the nature and severity of the breach
