The position

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Lead KYC. The Lead KYC will be responsible for leading a team of analysts to ensure compliance with KYC regulations.

Your mission:

Build a world-class KYC & Ops team

  • Lead a skilled and empathetic KYC team whose mission is to ensure compliance with KYC regulations

  • Grow and nurture the team from 5 to approximately 15 people within the next 18 months.

  • Provide training and coaching to the team to improve their performance

  • Monitor the quality of service and the execution of operations to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Outsource operations whenever it makes sense.

Scale & Optimize

  • Tackle big challenges: scale and optimize current processes, workflows, and tools, in cooperation with the product team.

  • Ensure the implementation and improvement of new processes. Be a source of energy and create momentum with different stakeholders to ensure consistent operations.

  • Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the KYC process.

Track our path to excellence, by taking ownership of Operations KPIs

  • Set ambitious goals for the whole team, to ensure Swan provides an elevated end-end customer experience.

  • Track the team’s success, by monitoring the quality of service and the execution of operations with relevant KPIs — and then celebrate those achievements!

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in our AML Policy and ensure that processes are compliant and the team is aware of any changes.

  • Work closely with other stakeholders to ensure that the KYC process is integrated with other processes.


Preferred experience

You’re a great match if:

  • Significant experience as a Lead KYC / KYB / AML. An experience in fintech, payment, banking, start-up/scale-up or another fast-paced work environment would be a plus.

  • Strong understanding of KYC regulations and requirements

  • You are a self-starter with a passion for KYC and a desire to lead a team

  • Strong leadership & team management skills. Proven track record of managing a team

  • Proven success in building and executing strategies based on your deep knowledge of operations metrics and analytics

  • You are a ‘do-er’ and are not afraid to become very hands-on

  • Strong analytical skills, you have an eye for detail

  • You have a sense of production priority and urgency.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to communicate with clarity, humility, and precision

  • Flexibility with changing requirements in an evolving and fast-paced environment
