The birth of Kovalee
In 2020, Damien and Vincent sparked an idea that would reshape app publishing. Vincent, co-founder of Homa, was thriving in mobile games; Damien built apps on the side. They wondered: why limit the publishing model to games?
This led to the creation of Lumos Apps, later rebranded as Kovalee.
In 2023, they secured €8 million in equity funding.
In 2024, Kovalee was recognized as the fastest-growing startup in France and the 7th in Europe by Sifted.
Since then, on this journey, Kovalee continues with the ambition to empower app creators and turn the company into a global success.
