The position

Job description

We are looking for talented people who are willing to build the most amazing rewards experience for consumers while keeping growing their own skills and expertise.

As Data Analyst Intern you will perform in-depth data analyses on our large sets of data to help all of the teams (e.g., B2C Marketing, Sales, Product) make data-driven decisions. You will report to the Data Analyst in charge of the data at Joko.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Data for business: you will help the different teams get the insights they need about our users, about the business, etc. You will help them understand what is going on and make informed decisions.

  • Deep-dive analyses: You will closely collaborate with our Data Analyst to perform complex analyses on large data sets, both banking data (€3b+ transactions) and usage data (700k+ users), to identify relevant patterns that could help us get better.

  • Company-wide reporting: You will be in charge of the monthly reporting that is presented during company-wide meetings to give an overview of the business.

  • Team training and coaching: You will help the different teams apply best practices when using our data tools. In order to do that, you will work on preparing training sessions and on building a clear documentation to make access to data as easy as possible for everyone at Joko.c


Preferred experience

  • Analytical skills: You love solving complex problems and analyzing data. You master at least one programming language (ideally Python and SQL).

  • Attention to details: You know that the devil is in the details and you always spot issues.

  • Communication: You have strong written and verbal communication skills, and you are able to explain something complex with simple words.

  • Mindset: You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you like challenges and you like getting hands-on.

  • Languages: you have an excellent level of English, as everything we do at Joko is in English.

  • Education: You are enrolled in a top engineering or business school (or equivalent).
