The Partnership Manager, North America, will lead the partnerships, vendor relationships, and content creation functions at John Paul with a focus on deal-making with strategic brands throughout the USA and Canada. The Partnership Manager will be responsible for engaging with John Paul’s senior leadership team, the negotiation and contracting process, and onboarding the relationships onto our concierge CRM and digital platforms.

This position will take the lead in sourcing hotel, airline, DMC (Destination Management Companies), restaurant, entertainment, wellness and lifestyle offers for the members directly tied to our Clients and Operational needs. You will be client-facing with experience in strategic relationship management, credit card loyalty marketing, and the travel industry with strong program and project management and reporting skills to grow our base of partnerships.

The position requires a collaborative leadership style, proven track record of delivering results, and an unwavering passion for service. You will have a sharp focus on key client and business objectives, can identify and design big-picture strategic initiatives, but also won’t hesitate to roll up their sleeves to accomplish any task.

Compensation will include a base salary and a bonus as outlined in John Paul’s bonus plan.

PARTNERSHIPS RESPONSIBILITES:

You will work closely with Client Success Team, who are our day to day contacts with our corporate clients. You will act as a liaison between our internal teams (Operations, I.T., Digital, Quality, and Training) and the external client.

• Prioritize and evaluate partnership opportunities based on strategic and financial criteria
• Develop and execute partnership strategy to achieve quarterly growth goals
• Run the entire deal process, including prospecting, developing, negotiating and closing agreements
• Supports quarterly business reviews and ensures all internal stakeholders are aware of the partnerships, vendor relationships and content that we have.
• Supports monthly and quarterly business reviews with our Vendors and Partners so that we remain front of mind, they see how much value we are driving to their respective businesses, and they have clear oversight to the performance of their partnerships (or vendor usage), and that the fulfillment process is always smooth.

  • Demonstrates a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to personally handle issues that arise
  • Ensure we are meeting or exceeding the contractual Partnerships that we are required to deliver.

Partnerships Sourcing Responsibilities:

• Sign national airline and national travel contracts
• Sign member benefit offers (retail, dining, experiences, VIP offers and regular everyday offers, and assets like the Global Dining Program, Golf Program, Retail Program)

Content Management Database project:

Manage a “vendor database” to store not only our offers but also our regular vendor details (name, address, photos, contact, blurb about the vendor).

• Build the tool, the process, and then also build and continually track, manage and encourage the adoption of the tool with staff
• Simultaneously load both the interim and the final tool with really great Vendor Content and Partnerships.


Preferred experience

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years experience in a Partnerships role
• Experience within Concierge or Customer Loyalty industries a plus
• Experience in partnerships with luxury brands, Dining travel and lifestyle
• Proven negotiation skills
• Domestic Overnight Travel on occasion
