Alice & Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world’s hardest problems.

The quantum computer we envision building is based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit 🐈‍⬛. In comparison to other superconducting platforms, cat qubits have the astonishing ability to implement quantum error correction autonomously!

In a context of deployment and industrial operation of an early-stage fault-tolerant quantum computer at a strategic client site, the Technical Account Manager – Quantum Computing is the guarantor of operational excellence, system reliability, and service continuity.

Reporting to the VP of Business, you will work closely with engineering, R&D, product, and tech operations teams to ensure day-to-day performance of the quantum system, smooth client operations, and continuous improvement of service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • 1- Ensure on-site operational excellence of the quantum system
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability using internal tools and dashboards
  • Anticipate risks and proactively prevent incidents
  • Perform first-level diagnosis and troubleshooting on complex HW/SW systems
  • 2 - Manage incidents, tickets, and service continuity
  • Own the incident lifecycle from detection to resolution
  • Ensure SLA compliance and contractual commitments
  • Produce incident analyses, root cause summaries, and corrective action plans
  • 3 - Act as the technical interface with the client
  • Represent Alice & Bob within the client’s operational governance structures
  • Participate in operational committees, reviews, and performance reporting
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and scientific users
  • 4 - Coordinate internal technical stakeholders
  • Escalate complex issues to expert teams (R&D, Engineering, Tech Ops)
  • Provide structured field feedback to improve products and operations
  • Contribute to operational documentation and knowledge base
  • 5 - Support continuous improvement & operational readiness
  • Participate in operational readiness reviews and audits
  • Contribute to service delivery process improvements
  • Support alignment between operational reliability and scientific usag
  • Requirements:

  • Education

  • Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer Hardware, Applied Physics, Systems Engineering, or related fields)
  • Minimum 7 years in one or more of the following contexts:
  • Technical Account Management
  • On-site technical support / field engineering
  • Operation of advanced scientific or industrial systems
  • Complex infrastructure or high-availability environments
  • Languages

  • French: Fluent (mandatory – client environment)
  • English: Proficient (mandatory – internal communication)
