We are looking for a new Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. The team is dispatched into 5 squads. You will build an important part of our platform, be a pioneer in an ambitious technical project and grow with the company.

You will be in charge of all the integration components from the back-end to the front-end:

• You will design and implement innovative user interfaces for the control of the platform.

• You will join a close-knit team and collaborate effectively on solving complex problems.

Objectives

Short term (4 months)

• You have a good understanding of the product.

• You have a good understanding of our architecture and infrastructure.

• You understand and follow the process at Wakeo for product and engineers from discovery to increment release.

• You bond with your squad.

• You release new increments, reaching sprint goals successfully.

Long term

• You have a strong understanding of the product.

• You have a clear overview of our architecture and infrastructure.

• You release new features at a fast pace.

• You take part into technical discovery for new features.

• You take part into R&D for bringing innovative solutions to Wakeo.

• You have graduated from an Engineering School and with minimum 4-6 years of professional experience. Experience in an international B-to-B SaaS is a plus.

• You are familiar with the scrum agile methodology.

• You have an engineering mindset and strong knowledge in development. Especially on frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, Python, NodeJS, ReactJS and especially NestJS.

• You help referencing and absorbing technical debt, perform R&D during your dev days and prez days.

• You have good communication skills by being structured and persuasive and able to make decisions and argue them.

• Good management of ambiguous and complex projects.

• You speak French and English.
