Within the Engineering teams of E-Commerce, we work on key features in major countries, as well as on tools allowing you to act on business levers. The team works independently in an agile environment, close to its users, constantly seeking improvement and responsible for its product: “You build it, you run it”.

Joining the Upper-Funnel Team

As a Senior Software Engineer in our dynamic team, your primary mission will be to elevate the customer journey within the Upper Funnel. This involves developing and implementing strategies to attract potential customers to our website through SEO and personalized campaigns, as well as re-engaging our existing clientele. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing our customers' ability to find exactly what they need and discover new products in our catalog, powered by our sophisticated search platforms using Elasticsearch and Algolia. Additionally, you'll play a key role in integrating detailed product information into attractive Product Detail Pages, prominently featuring our sustainable products. Through your contributions, you will directly impact the enhancement of our digital experience, from the initial attraction phase to the exploration of our product range, ensuring a seamless and enriching journey for every customer.

The teams, spread across Lille, Amsterdam, Paris, and Nantes, work collaboratively in an agile setup, emphasizing autonomy and continuous improvement. Occasional travel will therefore be expected.

Backend Technologies: Java or NodeJS

Databases: PostgreSQL / OpenSearch

Data pipelines: Kafka

Version Control and CI/CD: Git (GitHub Actions), Unit and functional testing, CI/CD processes.

Monitoring: Leverage tools like Datadog.

Collaborative Tools and Infrastructure: Utilize collaborative tools like Confluence, Slack, Jira, and work in infrastructure environments such as GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Flux, Helm, etc.
