Datategy

Before creating Datategy, Mehdi obtained his PhD in computer science at the CNRS Research Center. He also participated in the business strategy of the Ignite program at Stanford GSB and holds a master's degree in computer science. Soon after, he became the Lead Data Scientist for Finexcap, where he worked on statistical and Machine Learning algorithms for all data related projects in the company.

Mehdi has worked on innovations for major energy and mobility groups, in the development of a credit scoring system for a FinTech platform and has also done consulting and algorithm creation for Smart City projects worldwide.

He recognized early on that we need to go beyond the purely technological aspect to put data and AI at the service of usage transformation. Mehdi provides leading companies with expertise on a wide range of topics related to Data Science, strategy and development.

Cedric has a double expertise as he holds a Master of Engineering degree (CPE Lyon) and received an MBA from EM Lyon Business School. Before joining Datategy in September 2020, Cédric worked as Business Development Director in Europe at Egis Projects, dedicating in the development of urban mobility services.

Cedric has extensive experience in promoting high-tech services and brings more than 20 years of experience in the IoT and transportation sectors.

His vast experience in the promotion of added-value technologies and business services allows him to apply best practices in all areas of business.

His mission is to support customers in improving their operational performance by adding value to their data.

Before coming to Datategy, Alia obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science specializing in image processing and computer vision at the Pierre and Marie Curie University. She also obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Paris-Saclay on topics related to augmented reality in industry.

Soon after, she became an R&D Engineer which allowed her to participate in the design and development of new products and services.

In 2019, Alia joined Datategy as Project Manager and Data Scientist with a solid experience in Artificial Intelligence. Her expertise is essential in the analysis and enhancement of data sets to meet the needs of companies and to ensure the smooth running of end-to-end projects.

Before joining Datategy, Hermann obtained an engineering degree in TEAM (Technology for Energy, Aerospace and Motorisation) at the Orleans Polytechnic. Following his end-of-study internship at Engie, he developed a passion for data and realized the strategic role of data valorization within companies. He joined Datategy as a Data Scientist, which enabled him to participate in Big Data projects and Machine Learning algorithm creation. In 2019, Hermann becomes Project Manager at Datategy on the OctoCity Transport project. His missions consist of technical actions (architecture, database administration) as well as managerial actions. In particular, he prioritizes tasks, identifies risk factors for the solution, and forecasts the future of the application in order to have more impact on the market. Whether in the technical contribution to the development of the solution or in the collection of customer requirements, he plays a key role in the development of the product.

Before joining Datategy, Matilda obtained her bachelor’s degree in LLCER Spanish (Degree in Foreign and Regional Languages, Literature and Civilisations in Spanish) at the Sorbonne Nouvelle. She joined Datategy in September 2020 as Marketing and Communication Assistant. She is completing her master’s degree in Marketing and Commercial Strategy at the Paris School of Business. Her missions include assisting in the promotion of AI and Data Science products, monitoring potential opportunities (trade shows, conferences...) and assisting the Marketing and Communication Manager in the deployment of various communication strategies (brand development, press relations...). She has lived in different countries (Ecuador, Spain, France, Finland) which has taught her to understand what people are looking for, how they communicate with each other and therefore to understand customer needs.

Living in different countries (Ecuador, Spain, France, Finland) has taught Matilda not only new communication skills but as well un understanding of customer needs, whether it is France or abroad.

Presentation

Datategy (Data Strategy), a startup specialized in Data Science and flow analysis, was founded in 2016 by Mehdi Chouiten and Eric Chau; two data scientists specialized in the development of Machine Learning algorithms.

Datategy began with the development of its OctoCity platform, which centralizes data subjects related to mobility (transportation, parking, anti-fraud). In 2020, they are announcing the launch of the papAI platform enabling all types of users (Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Chief Data Officer...) to rapidly industrialize their data projects to a specific use case.
