In this context, you will play a key role: ensuring the continuity and resilience critical network infrastructures, and taking automation to the next level.
20+ Terabytes per month. Thousands of concurrent VPN data streams. Exponential IoT fleet growth. Vizzia's IoT platform is scaling faster than our infrastructure! We need someone who gets excited about solving problems at this scale. Not maintaining networks. Not just configuring routers. Building and automating the network infrastructure that powers a massive, high-growth IoT ecosystem.
Automate everything: Build the IaC (Terraform/CDK) that turns network provisioning from hours into minutes
Design network APIs: Create self-service automation that lets teams deploy infrastructure without manual intervention
Scale with confidence: Build monitoring, alerting, and observability (Datadog) that catches issues before they become incidents
Security from the ground up: Implement DevSecOps best practices, network hardening, and remediation at scale
Own the VPN architecture supporting thousands of concurrent device connections
Design and evolve cloud network infrastructure (VPCs, routing, site-to-site connectivity) across AWS & GCP
Bridge hardware and software: Work with Teltonika 5G routers, ensuring seamless integration with our platform
Build for sovereign cloud: Navigate the unique challenges of secure, compliant cloud infrastructure (S3NS/GCP)
This isn't traditional network engineering. You'll spend more time writing Terraform and Python than touching router configs. More time building automation pipelines than troubleshooting VLANs. More time designing systems for scale than firefighting.
ℹ️ You will join a team that's a little obsessed with automating everything (and proud of it)
Automation mindset: You think in code (Python/TypeScript) and IaC (Terraform/CDK). If you can't automate it, you're not done.
Cloud networking fundamentals: Strong understanding of VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, site-to-site connectivity
CI/CD experience: GitHub Actions or similar—automation includes your own deployment pipelines
Ownership mentality: You don't wait for someone to tell you what to fix. You identify problems and solve them.
Linux/Bash comfort: You're comfortable in terminal environments and shell scripting
Docker proficiency: Containerization is second nature
Professional proficiency in English
Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with VPN setup and management (OpenVPN / Netmaker)
You've tamed container orchestration (Kubernetes or equivalent))
Experience with observability tools beyond basic monitoring
Background in high-scale network operations
Strong autonomy: You own outcomes, not just tasks
Clear communication: You can explain complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
Rigor and reliability: In a high-growth environment, details matter
Problem-solving orientation: You navigate complexity and propose improvements proactively
Documentation mindset: You share knowledge and build systems others can understand
Cloud/Platform engineers who want to specialize in network infrastructure automation
DevOps engineers who love the networking domain and want to own it
