Purpose of role:  

To ensure the delivery of the European VWTS Accelerated Growth Programme to time, quality and cost.

Significant investment is planned between 2024 and 2027 to capture the opportunity for growth of mobile water services in Europe. The project includes expansion and modification of service centres and fleet. The expanded service intends to strengthen the provision of emergency services (predominantly ion exchange) as well as capture emerging markets and opportunities associated with water scarcity, micropollutants.

The magnitude and required speed of the growth plan warrants a dedicated team to ensure necessary focus. The VWTS Assets Programme Manager will be responsible for the performance of this team as well as the successful delivery of the whole investment programme.

Location: Within the European Region. Will be expected to travel regularly.

Main Responsibilities:

● Demonstrate and promote safety leadership in all aspects of the Company’s     business

● Responsible for the compliance to company policies and procedures, legislative requirements and act as a role model for the Company’s values and behaviours

● Establishes, through consultation with others, a Project Programme

● Establishes, though consultation with others, toll-gate processes to ensure the effective and efficient control of progress and finances

● Establishes and leads associated toll-gate milestones processes with appropriate communication

● Ensures the delivery of the European Accelerated Growth Programme to time, quality and cost

● Responsible for the establishment and direct line management of the Accelerated Growth Project Team

● Engage and manage third parties and suppliers necessary for the successful delivery of the programme

● Ensures the necessary engagement of the Company Supply Chain (including Sourcing, Finance, Commercial etc) to deliver the programme

● Ensures the Company Supply Chain and support services are in place and are ready for the delivery of services at the time of completion of Programme milestones

● Ensure appropriate, optimum practices are in place for the full life cycle of all elements of the programme

● Establishes appropriate reporting KPIs and reports out to programme governors;

● Highlight and manage project risks and opportunities

● Engagement of staff working councils and relevant consultation bodies

Requisitos

Qualifications required to do this role:
● Degree and post-graduate qualification in relevant engineering or science

 ● Appropriate, advanced safety qualification


Experience required to do this role:
● Established experience in project management and proven track record of delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects
● Established experience in managing project budgets and spend
● Broad understanding of engineering,  commercial and fulfilment services necessary to delivery mobile water solutions
● Broad understanding of legislative and best practices for construction project delivery;
● Proven experience in working and managing third parties and suppliers including contract and maintaining performance
● Broad understanding of mobile water services
● Good understanding of regional services and service models
● Understanding of the VWTS Toolset
● At least 10+ years in the water industry
