Job Summary

Valiantys is looking for its future Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst as part of a job creation. You are looking for a rewarding and enriching opportunity in a growing company doing active M&A.

Reports to the FP&A Manager,you will support Finance Senior Management Team to identify levers for margin and cash flow improvement, to implement business dashboards and analysis allowing performance management and business decision making.

This opportunity can be based in Toulouse or Paris.

Things you'll be working on :

- Analyse activity drivers to allow Senior Leadership to better understand and steer company performance; implement & utilise BI tools to delivery meaningful insights into business performance,

-  Perform adhoc financial, economic, benchmark, competition analysis

-  Prepare business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions: eg work with Finance Senior Management to build Acquisition Finance models,

-  Prepare material for business reviews with Regional Management and recommend new productivity, cost saving initiatives, operations streamlining initiatives,

- Participate to monthly business reviews with General Managers and Financial controllers and provide business input to rationalise variation to budget and variation to previous years,

- Support in building Senior Management and Board of Director Monthly Activity and Financial reporting,

- Prepare with GMs regional top line and gross margin budget,

- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost centers results,

- Review existing reporting processes and procedures to develop improvements,

- Apply group data governance policy and Master data procedure,

- Provide « reporting input » as part of a new ERP roll out project.

What you need to be successful

You speak English fluently and French of course!

You graduated in a major business or engineering school and have acquired a minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate finance/consulting/ transaction services.

You have an excellent finance knowledge and Excel (PivotTable, VBA…) and PowerPoint have no more secrets for you.

You are used to one or more BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Power Query…)

You have developped analytical skills, ability to work in a team and be a real business partner 

You are comfortable with financial statements and reports. 

You are looking for autonomy and ability to plan, coordinate and animate all stakeholders in the various projects. You like to have diversified tasks and learn on a daily basis.

And of course, you chose finance because rigor, confidentiality, culture of results and respect of deadlines are in your DNA.
