To accelerate the transition to a green energy economy, VAISALA France SAS is recruiting a GIANT LEAP - Strategy and business development Intern (energy transition) M/F.

As the share of renewable energies expands, the need for reliable and innovative weather solutions becomes increasingly critical across the entire energy ecosystem.

Reporting to the Head of Urban Insights, Strategy & Business Development, working with the team, your missions will consist in:

• Conducting market analysis on the energy transition in the electricity grids sector through desktop research and interviews with industry experts and customers.

• Generating compelling insights on market dynamics, trends, challenges, and untapped opportunities, leveraging your unique area of expertise.

• Identify and make contact with leading customers and industry experts, fostering relationships that lay the groundwork for future collaboration.

• Collaborating with our internal experts to develop and implement actionable go-to-market strategies that address both short and long-horizon opportunities for Vaisala.

• Generating, prioritizing and validating solution concepts, including leading hardware and digital solutions, through rapid experimentation techniques and/or pilots, continuously gathering valuable learnings along the project.

• You propose to your manager your project’s schedule, feeding in recommendations and validated learnings on the market segment to support the business unit’s strategy development.

Currently studying for a Bac+5 in Engineer/Business school or Master’s degree in business, technology, engineering orientation.

Academic and Technical skills:

• Fluent in English (speaking and writing), French is a bonus

• Analytical skills

• Project management experience in a relevant context

• Previous experience in relevant fields such as technology, business development, lean startup methods, financial modeling, data science, service design, etc. is considered a plus.
