As Upway’s SEO & Social Content Associate, you’ll play a key role in building our brand through high-impact, search-optimized content that reaches new audiences and supports our mission of sustainable mobility. From establishing a content strategy, to writing impactful blog posts and ensuring our site is SEO-optimized, you’ll help shape how people discover and engage with Upway at every touchpoint.

You’ll be the voice behind our content—clear, engaging, and aligned with what our customers care about. Whether it’s explaining product benefits, generating content that answers the most frequent questions, or creating content that can be repurposed on a variety of channels, your storytelling will directly contribute to our growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • SEO Content and Optimization (60%): 

    • Create engaging blog articles designed to guide users in their purchase journey, drive organic traffic and support keyword strategies.

    • Edit and optimize website content, ensuring it aligns with SEO best practices to improve rankings and visibility.

    • Develop optimized descriptions for new product collections and categories to enhance discoverability.

    • Collaborate with our tech specialists to implement targeted keywords, meta descriptions, and internal linking.

    • Continuously audit SEO and organic traffic performance and recommend adjustments (content or technical) for continuous improvement.

  • Social Media Content (30%): 

    • Assist in developing the social media content calendar, planning and scheduling posts across our platforms (currently Instagram and Facebook).

    • When needed, support Marketing Manager in creating visually compelling and on-brand posts, reels and stories that drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and attract new followers.

    • Stay ahead of trends and adapt strategies to leverage emerging opportunities.

  • Support on Campaign Activation (10%)

    • When needed, support the Marketing Manager on implementing and bringing to life marketing campaigns, including sales promotions and calendar-based initiatives, ensuring all content is engaging, creative, and on-brand.

Requisitos

  • 1–2 years of experience in SEO, content creation, copywriting, or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of SEO and strategies to improve keyword rankings and organic traffic. Experience with Semrush and/or Google Search Console is a plus

  • A love for storytelling with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in French. (English is also required for our internal communications, and being able to adapt existing content from other markets.)

  • ​​Creativity and passion for crafting engaging, visually appealing content with tools such as Figma, Canva, and CapCut.

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and content best practices.

  • Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.  

  • A love for bikes and/or e-bikes is a plus.
