Account Manager, Grocery & Retail - France

About the Role

As a Grocery & Retail Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of Uber Eats’ expansion beyond traditional restaurants. You will be responsible for nurturing and growing a diverse portfolio of supermarkets and retail stores across France. Your mission is to serve as a strategic partner to our merchants, helping them navigate the digital delivery landscape while ensuring our “Eaters” have access to the best selection in the country.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for top-tier accounts. You will focus on maximizing their financial performance, marketing visibility, and overall satisfaction, ensuring Uber Eats is their preferred delivery partner.
  • Scalable Portfolio Growth: Design and implement streamlined processes to effectively manage and support a high volume of accounts distributed throughout France.
  • Selection Enrichment: Identify high-potential partners to join the platform. You will collaborate closely with our Sales and Onboarding teams to close deals and curate a premium selection for our users.
  • Operational Excellence: Use data-driven insights to roll out growth strategies, ensuring your merchants are optimized for the best possible delivery experience.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the Uber Eats mission and values, acting as a trusted consultant and the “face” of our retail business in the French market.
Your Profile

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience: 1-3 years of proven success in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development.
  • Persuasion Power: Exceptional “sales and conviction” skills. You know how to pitch a growth strategy and get partners excited about the vision.
  • Communication: Fluent in French and English with strong interpersonal skills. You can build deep trust with stakeholders ranging from local store owners to corporate directors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management: Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without breaking a sweat.
  • Agility: You thrive in “constantly-changing” environments and can pivot your strategy as the market evolves.
  • Autonomy: A self-starter mindset. You are comfortable working with minimal oversight and taking the initiative to solve problems.
