QUI ETES VOUS ?

Titulaire d’un Doctorat en mathématiques, génie électrique ou informatique vous avez une orientation en biométrie, vision par ordinateur, ou classification statistique / l'apprentissage automatique ?

Vous avez une solide expérience d’environ 10 ans en développement, mise en œuvre et validation d'algorithmes en traitement d'image, reconnaissance de formes, vision par ordinateur, apprentissage automatique ou analyse statistique ?

Vous avez de solides compétences en gestion de projet dirigées et organisées,

Vous avez une solide expérience en programmation C / C ++ pour Windows et Linux

D’un esprit collaboratif, vous aimez le partage de connaissance ?

Vous avez de solides compétence en communication verbale et écrite en anglais ?

Vous êtes passionné par les technologies de nouvelle génération avec des capacités à prédire et à recommander les tendances technologiques ?

CE QUE NOUS POUVONS ACCOMPLIR ENSEMBLE :

Vous participez au développement des algorithmes biométriques de prochaine génération et repoussez les limites du traitement d'image numérique, de la précision et de la vitesse d'identification biométrique pour les technologies existantes dans les domaines du doigt, de la paume, du visage et de l'iris. Vous rejoindrez un environnement collaboratif axé sur l'innovation et le développement de technologies de base disruptives.

Vos principales missions seront de :

 * Diriger et mener des recherches scientifiques dans les domaines de l'acquisition, du traitement, de l'analyse et de la reconnaissance de données biométriques de manière indépendante ou en tant que membre de l'équipe.

- Être responsable du développement et des performances de certains algorithmes biométriques, en veillant à ce que les algorithmes puissent atteindre des objectifs de performance prédéfinis lors de l'évaluation interne et externe.

* Implémenter, développer et intégrer des algorithmes dans divers livrables internes et externes tels que les SDK, les solutions de système logiciel et le produit matériel.

- Prendre en charge, teste et dépanne les algorithmes, technologies et produits existants et nouveaux.

- Fournir des recommandations de grande valeur pour les feuilles de route technologiques de base.

Des voyages nationaux et internationaux pour les ateliers, les activités d'intégration et de déploiement client sont à prévoir.

Our Identity and Biometric Solutions (IBS) business is embarking upon a significant growth and talent development programme to further consolidate our market position as a leading innovator and technology provider of Biometric solutions. As part of these ambitious growth plans we are looking to appoint a Senior Biometric Research Scientist for the Biometrics product line, based at Palaiseau, France.

Primary Mission:

The person hired for the position of Senior Biometric Research Scientist will be part of developing the next generation biometric algorithms and pushing the boundaries of digital image processing and biometric identification accuracy and speed for existing technologies in the areas of finger, palm, face, iris as well as other modalities. You will be joining a collaborative environment focused on innovation and development of disruptive core technologies.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:* Leads and conducts scientific research in the areas of biometric data acquisition, processing, analysis, and recognition independently or as a team member.* Be responsible for the development and performance of certain biometric algorithms, ensuring the algorithms can achieve pre-defined performance goals in both internal and external evaluation* Implements, develops and integrates algorithms into various internal and external deliverables such as SDKs, software system solutions and hardware product.* Supports, tests and troubleshoots existing and new algorithms, technologies and products.* Provide high valued recommendations for core technology roadmaps 

What are we looking for in you?

Basic Qualifications:* Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution* Minimum of seven (7) years of any combination of experience with scientific R&D in the areas of image processing, signal processing, and/or biometrics* Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in C/C++ programming

* Minimum of three (3) years of experience in leading research projectPreferred Qualifications:* PhD degree from an accredited institution in Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science with focus on Biometrics, Computer Vision, Statistical Classification/Machine Learning.* Minimum of ten (10) or more years of experience and algorithm development in in Image processing, Pattern Recognition, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Statistical Analysis or equivalent experience.* Experience in algorithm development, implementation, and validation* Minimum of ten (10) or more years of programming C/C++ for Windows and Linux* Strong collaboration and information sharing skills* Good verbal and written English communication skills* Driven and organized development and project management abilities,* Passion for next generation technologies with abilities to predict and recommend technology trends

Whilst the role will be based in Palaiseau, France you can expect a degree of national and international travel for workshops, integration and customer deployment activities.
