We're looking for a Senior People Operations Specialist to join our People team at a pivotal moment. As we scale and structure our operations, we're putting employee experience at the heart of everything we do and this role is key to making that happen.

To deliver on this ambition, we need someone who can partner strategically with our People Partners while ensuring operational excellence across the employee lifecycle. That's where you come in.

Key Responsibilities 

People Operations isn't just about processes, it's about enabling our people and our business to thrive. You'll be instrumental in building scalable, employee-centric processes and running the day to day operations.

  • Operational excellence
    • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, and more.
    • Ensure compliance with local regulations.
    • Support payroll operations: act as backup for payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery for France and international subsidiaries.

  • People Partner collaboration
    • Act as the operational backbone for our People Partner.
    • Partner closely to solve complex cases and support employee needs.
    • Bridge the gap between strategic People initiatives and operational execution.
  • Structure & improvement:
    • Help structure and document People Operations processes.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
    • Build tools and resources that empower both employees and managers.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations ideally in a start-up or scale-up environment: You know how to navigate ambiguity, build processes from scratch, and adapt as the company evolves.
  • Strong knowledge of French labor law and People compliance: You understand legal frameworks, collective bargaining agreements, and conduct legal monitoring with confidence.
  • Process architect mindset: You don't wait for processes to exist; you create them. And then you optimize them with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Technologically curious and adaptable: You see AI as an ally, not an obstacle. Whether it's leveraging agentic workflows through tools like Dust, you approach technology with confidence and intellectual curiosity.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (written and spoken): You can explain complex legal concepts clearly to non-HR audiences.
  • People Stack: Teamtailor, Personio, Siit, CultureAmp
