Job Title: Implementation Project Manager (with pre-sales responsibilities) 

Type of employment: Permanent (CDI)


Location: Paris or full-remote position in France. You must already be living in France and have the legal right to work here without visa sponsorship, as we’re unable to provide sponsorship for this position.

Position Overview:
We are recruiting a Implementation Project Manager (with pre sales responsibilities) to join our global Implementations team, partnering with cross‑functional teams to ensure we deliver exceptional value to our clients.

In the context of Zigzag Global’s acquisition of the long-established French brand Shipup, you will be an expert for the Post-Purchase Experience solution and will be involved in developing standardised implementation processes for the roll-out of our new unified Post-Purchase + Returns product.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Product expertise & Presales Support 

  • Develop a strong expertise on our SaaS solutions and market needs.
  • Act as a reference resource for internal teams, expert of our product and our clients needs.
  • Assist internal teams (Sales and Customer Success) by analysing prospect and customer needs and providing clear, informed responses to technical and functional questions.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored, engaging demonstrations of our solutions that address specific use cases and challenges. 

Sales Collaboration

  •  Support Account Executives in drafting commercial proposals by making sure they propose the right commercial plan and onboarding offer to the prospects, depending on their use-case and needs. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our prospects by helping them understand how our solution addresses their pain points, driving conversion and pipeline velocity. 
  • Develop and maintain presales documentation (technical brochures, use cases, etc.). 
  • Participate in tenders and contribute to responses for RFPs. 

Communication and Events

  • Attend trade shows and professional events to promote our solutions. 
  • Create and present presales materials during internal or external events. 

Onboarding Manager  

  • Act as a project manager throughout the Implementation process of our customers. Technical and functional scoping, project kick-off, key users training, setup assistance, GoLive and hypercare.
  • Setup handover meetings and collaboration tools with the Sales team and the Customer Success Team.
  • Contribute to improving onboarding efficiency by improving processes and creating materials to help scale onboarding efforts.
  • Drive the best customer experience possible, leading to success throughout the Onboarding journey.
  • Define and create specifications for the configuration of a client's platform.

Strategic projects

  • Monitor KPIs to ensure a high level of performance (closing rate in presales activity, onboarding duration, onboarding satisfaction, onboarding churn).
  • Participate in building a strong strategy to go upmarket and smoothly onboard our most strategic accounts. 
  • Challenge existing processes and tools and participate in building new ones to have the best self-service onboarding for our mid-market customers.

What you'll need to be successful

 
  • A proven track record in SaaS environments, with expertise in project management, implementation delivery, and pre‑sales.
  • Aptitude for understanding technical solutions and communicating to technical and non-technical audiences.
  •  Ability to demonstrate an understanding of API and System Integration documentation.
  • Confidence when interacting with clients.
  • You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills. 
  • You learn quickly and thrive in dynamic scale‑up environments where ownership and intrapreneurship are encouraged.
  • You have a full professional proficiency in French and English. Spanish would be a real plus.
  • Working in a context of a company merger sounds exciting to you.
