About the job

As a Manager at Scaleway, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and training a team of Account Executives dedicated to driving the growth to meet revenue KPIs. You will report directly to the Head of Sales and work closely with other departments within the company.

You should be a dynamic and motivated leader with a strong background in complex sales, particularly in the technology sector. You will play a pivotal role in the company's development by optimizing sales processes and ensuring the success of our team.

You will be at the center of growing Tech companies. You’ll be a key actor at the heart of a thriving business, while discovering all aspects of the essential role of TAE, and the dynamic of a strong Revenue team. You will be trained on Cloud solutions that are at the center of our client’s strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Coach, motivate, and lead a team of Account Executives, setting clear goals and ensuring their achievement. Provide strong leadership and ongoing support to the team.
  • Challenge Ongoing Deals: You will oversee ongoing sales opportunities and work closely with the Account Executives team to improve their sales strategy.
  • Outbound: You will lead outbound prospecting activities, identifying new business opportunities and establishing relationships with potential new clients.
  • Reporting: You will create and manage performance tracking reports for the team, identifying areas in need of improvement and implementing corrective measures.
  • Coaching & Training: You will provide both individual and group coaching to team members to develop their sales skills, product knowledge, and customer understanding.
  • Tooling: Be proactive in the tooling proposition to support and develop team’s skills (Experience using Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other Sales tech stack).Stay informed about market trends, competition, and customer preferences, adapting strategies accordingly to create/develop opportunities.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience(s) as a successful Account Executive or in a senior sales role within the technology, cloud services OR experience in Sales Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and train high-performing sales teams.
  • Leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, achieving or over-achieving revenue targets.
  • Negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex deals in a competitive ecosystem with high growth potential.
  • Fluent in English and in French
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, with an understanding of technical and business aspects.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with other departments.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and use insights to make strategic decisions.
  • Capacity to deliver and build a Sales approach in a specific Industry(ies) / Ecosystem(s). And involved all internal stakeholders in this strategy.
  • Pipeline Management: Ensure the accurate management of the sales pipeline, track opportunities, and provide regular reports on progress to sales management.
