Job description


As Alliances & Channel Director, you will play a vital role in Rise Up’s exponential growth plan. You will join a team of highly talented sales professionals to identify, recruit, engage and develop qualified partners to achieve ambitious, but realistic, business targets. As we’re growing fast, you’ll adapt and grow with us, eventually taking on new challenges and responsibilities in your role.

What will your main responsibilities be?

  • Define the overall vision, sales strategies, tactics and execution plan to drive the growth of the Alliance & Channel partners network (Market Influencers, SI, VAR, ISV, MSP) and achieve the revenue goals of the assigned territory.

  • Work collaboratively with Rise Up direct sales teams to identify key opportunities, match partners with opportunities and develop sales pipeline.

  • Evangelize Rise Up to key stakeholders at all levels of the partner organizations and represent the voice of the partner within Rise Up to build differentiating joint offerings and run joint marketing activities.

  • Ensure successful customer implementations through delivery of timely, relevant skills transfer to the partner and make sure that partners’ engagements with customers build trust and deliver satisfaction.

  • Help Partners identify, develop and close deals with new and existing customers.

  • Properly forecasts monthly, quarterly and annual revenue numbers by leading joint business planning as well as quarterly business reviews.

Who will you be working closely with?

You’ll be joining a global partner organization consisting of 6 seasoned Alliance and Channel professionals who will be eager to welcome you and support your leadership initiatives. On a day-to-day basis you’ll be working with the GTM team of your assigned territory and will be a key contributor to the regional sales strategy.

Preferred experience


  • You have a successful direct sales experience complemented by 3-7 years in selling software solutions (SaaS) through partners, to partners or with partners.

  • Ability to engage, excite, influence and coordinate both partners and Rise Up functions even though they are not under his/her direct control through.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate partner contracts in a SAAS environment.

  • Ability to create sales presentation messages, positioning statements, and other sales collateral for partners.

  • Proven ability to initiate and develop productive Business Partner relationships, including experience of working with the local operations of global Consulting and Systems Integration companies such as BearingPoint, Deloitte, Grant Thornton ,…

  • Experience in Pipeline building with partners including planning, gaining senior sponsorship, delivering sales training, sales coaching, managing timely execution and follow-up.

  • Interacts with sales, customer success, marketing, finance and external customers and demonstrates different influence styles as appropriate to the situation while maintaining positive relationships.


  • Flexibility and understanding of the culture of a fast-paced, commercially oriented technology company.

  • Highly responsive and service-oriented attitude, accustomed to working in an international environment, action-driven.

  • Ability to maintain strong working relationships.
