We are not looking for an HR manager.
We are hiring the person who will build the People operating system that allows Qevlar to scale without breaking.
You will design and own the People engine for a company transitioning from early traction to structured hypergrowth.
This means:
Aligning hiring velocity with runway and fundraising cycles
Designing org structures that survive scale
Building recruitment systems that are predictable and data-driven
Structuring international expansion without operational debt
Raising leadership maturity across the company
This is a strategic role with operational depth.
You will work directly with founders and influence company direction.
Recruitment as a Growth Lever
Translate business objectives into workforce planning scenarios
Define hiring velocity tied to capital efficiency
Build dashboards that track funnel quality, time to hire, cost per hire, retention
Implement structured, calibration-driven interviewing frameworks
Ensure the hiring bar increases as the company scales
You do not “support hiring.”
You build a machine that scales hiring without lowering standards.
Organisation Design & Leadership Architecture
Design the company structure for 100+ employees
Introduce management layers, accountability clarity, and decision frameworks
Build performance systems that drive ownership and output
Develop managers into autonomous leaders
You understand when to introduce process and when to stay lean.
International People Infrastructure
Architect compliant operations across France, US, UK, Germany
Manage contracts, EOR, equity processes, compensation benchmarking
Build onboarding and documentation systems that scale globally
You prevent complexity before it becomes chaos.

8+ years in People / Talent leadership
Scaled a company past 100 employees
Operated in Series A or Series B environment
Built hiring systems that supported rapid growth
Comfortable tying hiring plans to runway and fundraising
Experienced in multi-country employment complexity
Strong knowledge of French employment law
Data-driven, metrics-obsessed
Fluent in English
