Location :
The position is based in France.

Position Overview :

You will be part of the Global Legal team working for France, Spain, and the UK.
You will work as a business partner to support operational teams on the legal aspects of their projects.
You will handle all Commercial Legal topics and will report directly to our Commercial and Privacy Manager.
You will work in collaboration with another Commercial Legal Counsel.

This position is based in France.

Key responsibilities : 

As a Commercial Legal Counsel, you will handle a great variety of cutting-edge legal topics on your own, supported by the Commercial and Privacy Manager.

You will be mainly in charge of :
- handling the legal relationship with our customers and partners by supporting our sales, customer success, and business teams (contract negotiations, training, creating/updating templates, managing customers' requests)
- managing the legal aspects of our product's new features, integrations, and projects with the product teams (General terms of use, user journey, API connections, product partnerships)
- supporting the brand marketing team in the legal aspects of their projects (advertising campaigns, events, communications, etc.)
- handling the Legal Ops initiatives for the Legal Team (implement tools and processes to ease the Legal team's daily work)

You will also be able to :
- Ensure the protection of our immaterial assets (trademarks, domain names, software, etc.)
- Work with local external counsel and hand-in-hand with other global legal team members (France & abroad)

Qualifications : 

- You have a master's degree in contract law, business law, IP/IT law - the French Bar Association is a great +
- You have at least 2 years of experience (in addition to your internships) as a lawyer or legal counsel in commercial/contract law and/or IT law (French law), and privacy law (European)
- You have legal skills that you apply in a practical and business-oriented way
- You have excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills (in French and English)
- You are structured i.e. able to present your topics, your analysis, and your recommendations
- You are a problem solver and adaptable to change
- You are autonomous, rigorous & organized

- An experience in a B2B SaaS company or a Law Firm specialised in tech and/or IP is a big +
