Presales Engineer

Within your #OneTeam

As part of OVHcloud’s development in the DACH region, we are currently looking for a Presales Engineer to participate in sales development.
Based in Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg or Saarbrücken, you are in charge of supporting sales teams in the value proposition thanks to in-depth technical knowledge, with the aim of developing business activity in the DACH region.
Reporting to the Presales Director, you are an important player in OVHcloud’s international presence, working to promote it. Dynamic, proactive and passionate about sales and IT, you work as a team with the ultimate goal of customer satisfaction.

Your main responsibilities

  • Respond to RFQs with a sales representative
  • Analyze customer needs
  • Designing the most relevant technical solution in relation to the technical teams
  • Formalize RFQ response processes
  • Support large account sales representatives with the customer in order to provide support and a technical vision of the company’s offering
  • Answer customer questions and reassure customers with relevant technical arguments
  • Deliver technical demonstrations, product presentations to customers, decision makers and/or users
  • Ensure technological monitoring of all market developments
  • Participate in trade fairs, conferences and any event that can enrich your market knowledge
  • Lend credibility to the company’s offering by contributing its expertise in developing new products or improving existing ones
  • Escalate use cases, share field experiences

Skills required
  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable presales role
  • Technical knowledge of hosting and cloud computing solutions
  • Good knowledge of sales techniques and sales cycles.
  • Ability to build complex offerings
  • Natural curiosity and the ability to innovate in order to propose new business strategies
  • Passion for new technologies and dynamic markets
  • An open and dynamic personality with a strong customer focus
  • A taste for teamwork
  • Autonomous and independent, with good organization
  • German mother tongue, English bilingual, 3rd language an asset
