We are seeking a Public Partnership and Policy Officer to join our team through a V.I.E., based in Vienna (Austria). In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in managing our partnership with UNIDO, the UN agency responsible for industrial development. This partnership aims at helping countries rebalance investments towards local infrastructure to build roads for the benefit of rural communities, while facilitating investment and technology transfer in rural infrastructure development. Additionally, you’ll conduct EU policy analysis, monitor regulatory developments, and track international tenders for strategic engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Public Partnership Management:

  • Coordinate initiatives with UNIDO, managing project timelines, documentation, and resources efficiently.

  • Organize and prepare meetings, workshops, and trips related to the partnership, fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Cultivate relationships with key partners to drive project success and maximize impact.

EU Policy Analysis:

  • Conduct research and analysis on relevant EU policy issues, including ESG reporting, Digital and AI Act, and Construction Products Regulation.

  • Monitor EU policy developments within the regulatory cycle, providing strategic insights to support organizational objectives.

International tenders Monitoring:

  • Monitor Requests for Proposals (RFPs) issued by Multilateral Development Banks relevant to our organization.

  • Track proposal submission deadlines, requirements, and evaluation processes, facilitating strategic engagement opportunities.


Requisitos

  • Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field (e.g. Sciences Po, IEP, or equivalent)

  • Prior experience (including internships) in public-private collaboration, EU policy development, or with international organizations.

  • Strong understanding of EU legislative, regulatory, and policy procedures, with the ability to conduct policy research and synthesis.

  • Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in French and German is a plus.
