About the role:

Ogury’s business is growing and evolving, and with a strong new brand at the forefront, our MarComm team is focused on driving brand awareness globally, and doubling down on our creative outputs to help propel the company to new heights.

Off the heels of a rebrand, there is a need for strategic creative leadership to manage and grow our new brand with fresh and impactful creative applications that will help us stand out in the marketplace and win over our clients. 

The Brand Creative Director will be responsible for setting and maintaining the direction of the Ogury brand and managing full-funnel creative, including brand campaigns, event creative, sales collateral and more.

In this role you will be responsible for managing MarComm creative resources (in-house, agency and/or freelancers) leveraging tools to ensure creative projects get completed on time and in a quality manner. Our Brand Creative Director will be our brand steward, building relationships with stakeholders across MarComm and the wider organization to help drive brand and creative excellence throughout the company. 

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and deliver compelling, on-brand solutions that resonate with our target audience. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for design, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving creative excellence.

This role reports directly to our Chief Marketing Officer and is located in our New York, Boston or Chicago office.

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain the creative vision and brand identity across all channels, ensuring consistency and alignment with company goals
  • Conceptualize and design compelling, quality creative across touch-points, ensuring effective implementation
  • Lead and inspire the creative team and MarComm to consistently produce high-quality work that meets objectives and exceeds expectations
  • Provide hands-on project management, guidance and feedback throughout the creative process, from concept development to final execution, to ensure alignment with project goals and brand standards
  • Manage and prioritize multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated efficiently
  • Drive innovation and experimentation by staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design and advertising
  • Collaborate closely with MarComm peers to understand project objectives, define creative briefs, and present concepts and ideas effectively
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where creativity flourishes, ideas are valued, and team members feel supported and empowered to excel
  • What you will bring to this role and Ogury:

  • Proven experience in a creative function with advertising industry experience
  • Strong understanding of brand marketing
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading creative teams and delivering impactful campaigns from concept to execution
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate briefs into innovative and effective creative solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate and sell creative concepts to internal teams and clients
  • Proficiency in relevant design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, and project management software such as Asana
  • Passion for creativity, design, and storytelling, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
  • Desire to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to foster exceptional internal relationships across all team members
