Why do we need a Lead Writer/Producer ?
We are looking for a Lead Writer/Producer to drive the execution and integration of all narrative content in our AAA project Age of Bhaarat.
This person will act primarily as a producer for the narrative pipeline while also leading a small team of writers, ensuring that dialogues, cutscenes, and story documents are delivered on time, aligned with the project’s creative direction, and consistent with the Indian Epics foundation of the game. The recruit will join the project at a post-conception and pre-production stage (alpha), where the emphasis is on execution and integration of existing creative material. Creative inputs must be aligned with the established narrative framework and source documents, reinforcing consistency rather than expanding scope. They will manage and track the workload of a few writers directly, and coordinate closely with production and design teams to ensure narrative integration and milestone delivery. Their mission isto ensure the faithful, timely, and high-quality execution of the Creative Vision across the project.
Plan and track the writing pipeline: assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
Drive narrative execution: guarantee that dialogues, cutscenes, and supporting documents are delivered on schedule, consistent with the established framework and Indian Epics material.
Cross-team coordination: work primarily with production and cinematics (and design as needed) to ensure smooth integration of narrative into gameplay and milestones.
A clear narrative production schedule is in place and respected.
Dialogues and cutscenes are delivered on time and integrated smoothly into the builds.
Narrative execution is recognized as reliable, consistent, and faithful to the Indian Epics.
Other departments rely on this role as the producer reference for narrative workflow and delivery.
